1. Harry Potter (Panda's version) - Featuring Janet Hayden - Chapter 8

Behind the door, Janet wipes off the tears that were swirling in her eyes and sank down beside her bed. She pulled out the letter from her pocket. While reading it, she found another piece of parchment stuck to the first piece. She pulled it off and saw a list of items that sounds like books and supplies for Hogwarts.

“The standard book of spells, A history of Magic,” muttered Janet. It all sounds so interesting but they ere so near yet so far. Janet stood up and switch on her computer signed into her MSN and typed “stuck in muggle life” on her personal message box. “Is it spelled like that? Mugle? Magel? Muggle? Muggel? Oh, nevermind, I’ll just assume. Nobody knows anyway.”

She loads the search engine and type “The Standard book of spells”, half hoping that the whole content of the book will available on the internet or Wikipedia and maybe the real book might just be available on Ebay.

However, things like “” The Standard”, “International Standard Book Number”, “Spells – way to find your true love” and many other unrelated links but there’s no sign of “The Standard Book of Spells (Grade 1) by Miranda Goshawk”.

Feeling disappointed, Janet sank down into her chair, she tried a few other book names but the results are not quite like what she has been expecting.

She closed all her search windows and stared at the blank desktop screen until a pop-up window appeared blinking on the screen.
